The Airbag helmet from Spanish company APC is the first commercially available motorcycle helmet to be equipped with an air bag. The APC Airbag helmet works by using a remote electronic control box which is attached to the bike. This control box senses the sharp deceleration of the vehicle which occurs during a collision.
